The Boat Fun!!

A friend of family owns a boat. He is a close friend and one of the sponsors. Andrey (that's him) kindly offered the Genesis family to have some water fun on his boat, which Sasha and Lena gladly accepted. Mom and Dad, Grandma, 5 kiddos, the captian Uncle Kolya, Jamie and myself were all onboard. What a glorious day that had been (a day before Sasha broke his foot, a couple weeks before Pat broke hers). But then everything was marvellous, the weather, sandwiches, the mood, the captain... Have a look at some of those precious moments.

 

A chain of bad luck followed the crew of The Genesis house. It's been a very difficult summer for the Donskoys. Just when it seemed that things were getting better Sasha suddenly broke his foot. That meant that the family was left without a driver (= shopping, taking the kids to the kindergarten and school, the rest of things to be done out of the village or around the house). This is a picture of him in the hospital getting his medical treatment (a picture off Jamie's phone - how convenient those little things are!)

Also, Pat, Tony and a few other members of the New Beginnings Fund in England were planning a trip here to visit for a few weeks. But then we got the news that Pat had just broken HER leg. Thank God for here sense of humor and her loving husband that keep her on the move. So... walk carefully and keep your feet healthy!!!

I'm hoping to find a nice picture of the Donskoy family (full version - with their 5!! foster kids) and also a picture of the whole team working hard for the happy life of these 5 blessed ones. Keep visiting. I'll try to post as often as possible... and believe me, every day is an adventure in that house, so there will be news. Until then.
